slow to blog

I just got back from a 3 weeks vacation to Barcelona and Morocco. I am completely exhausted. We had a crazy itinerary. Here is the breakdown of each leg:

1. San Francisco to New York (12 hrs in New York)
-flew red-eye, arrived in New York around 7am
-dropped my stuff off at N's. She was kind enough to let me use her place as left luggage:)
-ran in Central Park (I love central park, I ran about 5miles couldn't finish the entire 6 mile loop since I thought I was going to collapse due to the lack of good sleep on the plane, but the run was worth it. They were still taking down the stands from the New York City Marathon!, to think I got to run along the same ground as Paula Radcliffe, how cool is that!)
-lunch w/P and her baby E.
2. New York to Geneva (9hrs in Geneva)
we took full advantage of that; saw the UN, red cross, and ran about 1/8 mile along the lake; we had planned to run longer, but it took us a few hours to figure out how to get from the airport to the city; yes when you don't speak the language everything takes 3 times as long:)
3. Geneva to Barcelona (2 nights)
4. Barcelona to Morocco (13 nights)
5. Morocco to Barcelona ( 2 nights)
-on Saturday 11/24, we walked all over Barcelona, we had breakfast at 8am and lunch at 3pm. We had some gummi bears to tie us over until lunch, I was about to collapse
6. Barcelona to Geneva ( ~ 2 hrs)
7. Geneva to New York (1 night)
crashed at N's.
8. New York to SFO (took at 8:25AM flight, exhausted)

I put my running shoes in semi-use. I got to run in Central Park, Essaouira, Morocco, and Barcelona!
